Ashburn, Va.-based technology services contractor Applied Insight has bought Organizational Strategies Inc. for an undisclosed sum in a move to help government clients further missions with the firms’ collective offering.
Both companies aim to combine analytics, cyber, sensor and cloud computing platforms with with their understanding of various missions to address specific customer requirements, Applied Insight said Monday.
McLean, Va.-based OSI has worked with the Defense Department on multiple intelligence, reconnaissance and surveillance programs, as well as provided support to the Department of Homeland Security.
Gavin Long, CEO of Applied Insight, said the combined entity aims to help customers build systems infrastructure, manage mission-critical technology platforms and data and deliver insights for decision-making.
The combined company’s executives will collaborate in the coming months on business development and support infrastructure investment efforts.
Applied Insight is one of the two firms that The Acacia Group established in March shortly after the investment firm’s acquisition of Intelligent Decisions.
