Draft RFP Details $350M Follow-On Special Ops Force Training Program

The U.S. Army has released a draft request for proposals for a potential five-year, $350M contract vehicle for training support services to the U.S. special operations force, Bloomberg Government reported Tuesday.

A presolicitation conference about the fourth iteration of the Special Operations Forces Requirements Analysis, Prototyping, Training, Operations and Rehearsal contract will take place on Thursday and Friday in Orlando, according to a FedBizOpps summary.

SOF RAPTOR IV will cover efforts to analyze training requirements, explore concepts, develop a prototype, create a curriculum, facilitate training and rehearsal exercises, as well as operate and maintain functions that support force training goals.

BGov noted the Army’s program executive office for simulation, training and instrumentation aims to issue a final solicitation notice next month.

Raptor Training Services currently provides SOF training and engineering support as the incumbent on the $90M RAPTOR III contract.
