BAE Systems Works on New Alabama Facility for Aircraft Systems Development

TYSONS CORNER, VA, September 12, 2018 — BAE Systems has begun the development of its future facility in Huntsville, Ala., to house the production of aircraft survivability and precision munition systems, ExecutiveBiz reported Tuesday.

Rocket City Now reported Monday the $45.5M project will result in an 83K-square-foot facility, which is expected to support an expansion of the firm’s work in military programs and create approximately 300 jobs in engineering, manufacturing, program management and business development.
