Rockwell Collins’ (NYSE: COL) government systems segment has received a $288.5M contract modification from the U.S. Navy to produce airborne radio communications equipment for domestic and international defense customers.
The modification covers the first option year under a previously awarded indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract for the AN/ARC-210 radio production and delivery services, the Defense Department said Monday.
Work will occur through September 2021 at a company facility in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.
AN/ARC-210 is designed to facilitate two-way voice and data communications via AM, FM and satellite networks built to support over ultra and very high frequency bands.
