Raytheon’s Dave Wajsgras Joins Va. Officials to Talk Cybersecurity, Honor NCCDC Champions

TYSONS CORNER, VA, July 20, 2018 — Dave Wajsgras, president of the intelligence, information and services business at Raytheon (NYSE: RTN), participated in a discussion with Virginia state officials earlier this month about cybersecurity and opportunities for training in the field, ExecutiveBiz reported July 13.

The event, which was held at the company’s northern Virginia campus, featured Wajsgras alongside Gov. Ralph Northam and state delegate Kathleen Murphy, as well as student members of the University of Virginia’s winning team in the Raytheon-sponsored National Collegiate Cyber Defense Competition, UVA School of Engineering said July 12.

“With experiences like those offered at the National Collegiate Cyber Defense Competition, you all are starting to be in the position to solve our most critical cyber challenges,” Wajsgras, a four-time Wash100 awardee, told the audience.
