Red Hat Adds IBM Vet Alfred Zollar to Board of Directors

TYSONS CORNER, VA, May 9, 2018 — Red Hat (NYSE: RHT) has appointed Alfred Zollar, a veteran of IBM (NYSE: IBM), to its board of directors, ExecutiveBiz reported Tuesday.

Zollar has served as a division general manager for network computer software, as president and CEO for the Lotus Software division and as general manager of the eServer iSeries at IBM, Red Hat said Monday.

Naren Gupta, chairman of Red Hat, said Zollar will help the company continue to anticipate and provide open source technologies.
