TYSONS CORNER, VA, April 10, 2018 — Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory has named a former CIA deputy director and deputy national security adviser during the Obama administration as a senior fellow, GovCon Executive reported Monday.
The lab said Friday Avril Haines, who also served as legal adviser to the National Security Council, joins other experts in the national security and space sectors as APL senior fellows who will help shape the technology and policy decisions of government and military officials.
