Orbital ATK Supplies Composite Structures, Components for Delta IV Rocket


TYSONS CORNER, VA, Jan. 17, 2018 — Orbital ATK (NYSE: OA) has provided spacecraft components for United Launch Alliance‘s Delta IV rocket that recently launched a National Reconnaissance Office payload to space, ExecutiveBiz reported Tuesday.

Company-supplied components include two graphite epoxy motors, which it will also supply for the Atlas V and Vulcan launch vehicles beginning 2019, as well as composite structures aimed to facilitate lower weight and higher performance for space vehicles, Orbital ATK said Friday.
