Orbital ATK, Air Force Sign CRADA on Data Exchange Plan for Next Generation Launch System

TYSONS CORNER, VA, Jan. 8, 2018 — Orbital ATK (NYSE: OA) has signed a cooperative research and development agreement with the U.S. Air Force to develop a data exchange framework and plan required for the certification of the company’s Next Generation Launch system, ExecutiveBiz reported Friday.

The company said Thursday it will work with the Space and Missile Systems Center to facilitate the certification of NGL vehicles built to launch very large science and commercial satellites, which Orbital ATK’s Pegasus, Minotaur and Antares rockets do not support.
