General Electric‘s (NYSE: GE) aviation unit has received a potential five-year, $380 million to provide technical, engineering and technical support services for the U.S. Army‘s T700 turbine engine recapitalization effort.
GE Aviation will also overhaul, convert and repair the engine along with modules and identified components in support of Corpus Christi Army Depot, the Defense Departmentsaid Thursday.
The Army Contracting Command received one bid for the firm-fixed-price contract through an online-based solicitation.
The Pentagon expects contract work to be completed by Dec. 31, 2022.
