Avaya, Collab9 Offer Unified Comms Service to Fed Agencies; Jerry Dotson Comments

TYSONS CORNER, VA, Nov. 9, 2017 — An Avaya business unit has expanded its partnership with collab9 to deliver Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program-authorized unified communications services to the federal government, ExecutiveBiz reported Oct. 25.

Avaya Government Solutions and collab9 will jointly provide a UC product to federal customers in support of instant messaging, audio and video conferencing, contact center and associated communications functions within a secure cloud-based environment, Avaya said Oct. 25.

“The Avaya/collab9 relationship enables access to a variety of scalable enterprise-grade UC services capabilities, from a trusted government IT leader, all on a fixed-cost-per-user basis,” said Jerry Dotson, vice president of Avaya Government Solutions.
