Raytheon’s Joint Standoff Weapon C-1 Variant Deployed to Navy After FOC Designation


TYSONS CORNER, VA, Oct. 16, 2017 — Raytheon (NYSE: RTN) latest Joint Standoff Weapon system variant has reached full operational capability under the U.S. Navy in support of its deployment to the fleet, ExecutiveBiz reported Friday.

The Navy said Wednesday the network-enabled JSOW C-1 air-to-ground weapon, which has already been fielded to all service branch squadrons, features global positioning system/inertial navigation system guidance, terminal infrared seeker and Link 16 data connectivity.
