TYSONS CORNER, VA, Oct. 20, 2017 — A subsidiary of Cubic (NYSE: CUB) will deliver satellite communications equipment that will work to support New Zealand’s military under an estimated $5 million foreign military sales contract, ExecutiveBiz reported Monday.

The company said Monday GATR Technologies will supply inflatable satellite antennas with associated hardware and spares as well as new equipment training as part of the country’s Network Enabled Army effort to update its sensor systems for command, control, communications, intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance missions.

“To support warfighters at the tactical edge, the GATR inflatable antenna is designed to be extremely portable, reliable and easy to set up,” said Mike Twyman, president of Cubic Mission Solutions.
