BAE Picks Harris Transmitters for EW Countermeasures on USAF Special Ops Aircraft

TYSONS CORNER, VA, Aug. 24, 2017 — Harris (NYSE: HRS) will supply phased array transmitter antennas to BAE Systems in support of the latter’s electronic warfare countermeasure system aboard the U.S. Air Force‘s MC-130J Commando II and AC-130J Ghostrider aircraft, ExecutiveBiz reported Wednesday.

The transmitters will work to provide transmit capability for the BAE countermeasures in efforts to protect the Air Force Special Operations Command aircraft from electronic threats, Harris said Wednesday.
