US, UK & Norway Plan Trilateral Coalition to Operate Boeing-Built Maritime Patrol Aircraft


TYSONS CORNER, VA, July 6, 2017 — The U.S. government will work with the governments of Norway and the U.K. to jointly develop guiding principles for the operation of the Boeing-built (NYSE: BA) P-8A Poseidon maritime patrol aircraft, ExecutiveGov reported Wednesday.

Defense News reported Monday that the involved countries will form a trilateral coalition around P-8A operations and utilize a framework of cooperation in interoperability, readiness and enhanced defense efforts.
