Neil Lampton, Umang Modi Take New Leadership Roles at tiag

Neil Lampton, formerly a vice president of tiag, has been named chief operating officer at the Reston, Virginia-based management and technology services provider.

He will help the company implement business plans and oversee work for government and commercial clients, tiag said Wednesday.

Lampton joined the company in 2005 as a director and later elavated to the roles of general manager and VP.

He has helped tiag manage information technology programs and contract operations at several agencies such as the departments of Defense and Homeland Security and the U.S. Air Force Medical Operations Agency.

Umang Modi will transition from the role of a VP to chief strategy officer and be responsible for sales and marketing operations, product development and technology partnerships.

Modi has led contract operations for health care programs and enterprise management efforts at several agencies such as theDepartment of Health and Human Services and Defense Health Agency.

“The promotions of Neil Lampton and Umang Modi engender continuity and alignment of tiag’s strategic goals, maximizing the value of their exceptional strengths and achievements,” said Dalita Harmon, tiag president and CEO.

Both appointees will spearhead the formation of a new team that will work to develop new technological platforms in support of customers’ missions and drive demand for business opportunities.
