NASA has released a request for proposals for a potential five-year, $145 million contract to provide information technology services to all mission directorates and support offices at the agencys headquarters.
The Headquarters Information Technology Support Services III contract covers information systems management, application and technical architecture support, systems engineering, IT security, training, asset management, NASA HQ data center operation, IT portfolio management and customer support, the agency said in a FedBizOpps notice posted July 18.
Potential contractors should also provide project management services in support of agency and HQ programs, manage and maintain the IT and communications divisions governance structure and model as well as deliver web services and knowledge management support.
The HITSS III contract has a one-year base term and four option years and consists of cost-plus-incentive-fee and indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity portions with the ability to issue task orders on a CPIF or cost-plus-fixed fee basis, according to a FedMarket notice.
Proposals for the competitive procurement are due Aug. 18.
NASA issued the RFP five years after it awarded the HITSS II contract to Digital Management Inc.
The current HITSS team includes DMI, AI Solutions and Adnet, according to NASAs HQ ITCD.
