John Pitsenberger Named CFO of Former Harris IT Business

John Pitsenberger

John Pitsenberger, former executive vice president and chief financial officer of Sotera Defense Solutions, has been appointed CFO of MHVC Acquisition Corp. — previously known as the government information technology services division of Harris (NYSE: HRS).

MHVC CEO Stu Shea said in a statement released Tuesday Pitsenberger’s government contracting industry experience will help drive the company’s efforts to deliver new technology platforms to customers.

Herndon, Virginia-based MHVC was formed upon the sale of the former Harris IT services business to investment firm Veritas Capital for approximately $690 million in April.

Before Sotera, Pitsenberg held the roles of VP and corporate controller at PAE and Apptis.

The certified public accountant also served in financial leadership positions at Iron Bow Technologies, Deltek, American Systems and CGI (NYSE: GIB).
