May 3 Market Close: GovCon Index Down as Markets Close Mixed on Unchanged Fed Rate


The Executive Mosaic GovCon Index closed down 0.306 percent to 92.383 as decliners outpaced advancers 2 to 1.

Major markets closed mixed as the Federal Reserve left interest rates unchanged and the U.S. economy is showing weakness

At market close WTI was down $0.43 compared to the market open of $48.12 per barrel.
