Lockheed’s Sikorsky Lands Army Contract for Black Hawk Tail Rotor Blade Repairs


TYSONS CORNER, VA, May 19, 2017 — Lockheed Martin‘s (NYSE: LMT) Sikorsky subsidiary will provide tail rotor blade repairs in support of the U.S. Army‘s UH-60 Black Hawk helicopters under a $37.6 million contract, ExecutiveBiz reported Thursday.

The Defense Department said Wednesday Sikorsky received $18.4 million in initial funds to work on 381 helicopter tail rotor blades through the end of March 2019.
