PSS Subsidiary Secures $75M FBI Contract for Acquisition Services; Scott Goss Comments

A subsidiary of Preferred Systems Solutions has received a potential five-year, $75 million contract from FBI to provide full life-cycle acquisition support across the bureau’s divisions and 56 U.S. field offices.

The company said Tuesday its Government Contract Solutions business will deliver acquisition policy, planning, solicitation preparation, source selection and post-award support services through the contract.

“We look forward to supporting the bureau in its efforts to procure supplies and services in a responsible, efficient, customer-focused manner,” said PSS CEO Scott Goss.

Virginia-based PSS acquired GCS in 2014 as part of efforts to build on its intelligence, defense and federal civilian portfolios.

PSS is in the process of reaching a final agreement to close its estimated $119 million acquisition by STG Group around the end of its first fiscal quarter, pending regulatory reviews.
