Boeing to Provide Cryptographic Update for Air Force Combat Search & Rescue Radio


TYSONS CORNER, VA, April 5, 2017 — Boeing (NYSE: BA) will provide an update to the cryptographic module of the U.S. Air Force‘s combat search-and-rescue radio equipment under a $42.6 million contract, ExecutiveBiz reported Tuesday.

The Defense Department said Monday the contract covers development, certification, integration and test of the cryptographic update for the Ultra High Frequency Base Station and Combat Survivor Evader Locator.
