BAE to Lead F-35 Sustainment in UK Under Subcontract From Lockheed


TYSONS CORNER, VA, April 4, 2017 — Lockheed Martin (NYSE: LMT) has awarded an estimated $50 million subcontract to BAE Systems for support to the F-35 fighter jet fleet in the U.K., ExecutiveBiz reported Monday.

BAE said Friday it will work with Lockheed to provide engineering, technical, training, maintenance and supply chain management services and lead sustainment work for the U.K.’s F-35 aircraft.
