Executive Mosaic, Tysons Corner, VA March 1, 2017 — Tim Conway, president of NTT Data‘s public sector business, has been inducted into Executive Mosaic’s 2017 Wash100 for his leadership with integrating Dell Services.The Wash100 is the premier group of private and public sector executives selected by Executive Mosaic’s organizational and editorial leadership as the most influential voices in the GovCon sector and recognized for their leadership and impact in shaping the industry.
Conway is a 28-year public sector veteran who is responsible for NTT Data’s U.S. business that works with federal, state and local government agencies.
In March 2016, NTT Data — a subsidiary of Japan-based conglomerate Nippon Telegraph & Telephone — announced its intent to purchase the Dell Services business for $3.05 billion.
The purchase was completed in November 2016 and will further expand NTT’s reach into information technology and consulting services.
Conway told ExecutiveBiz in April that Dell’s cloud computing, business process outsourcing and technology infrastructure complement NTT Data’s advisory and application innovation services for public sector agencies.
“You have to have the contracting vehicles to get to the customers and there is an element of synergy both sides can bring together… We can jointly work on those to continue expansion into the customer bases that we both hold already,” he said.
