Boeing Unveils MH-139 Helicopter as Entry for Air Force’s Huey Replacement Effort


TYSONS CORNER, VA, March 6, 2017 — Boeing (NYSE: BA) will offer the MH-139 helicopter in its bid on the U.S. Air Force program to replace the current fleet of UH-1N Huey helicopters, ExecutiveBiz reported Friday.

The company said Thursday the Huey replacement program provides an opportunity to supply 84 new helicopters to the Air Force.

The service branch anticipates the release of the program’s final request for proposals in April.
