Australian Fleet of Boeing-Built Growlers to Get Funds for New Jammer, Radar

TYSONS CORNER, VA, March 2, 2017 — Australia’s fleet of Boeing-built (NYSE: BA) EA-18G Growler aircraft will potentially receive new radio jammers and radar systems through the country’s planned $191.6 million investment on the technology, ExecutiveBiz reported Wednesday.

The Australian defense department said Wednesday Marise Payne, the defense minister, made the comments as the country marked the delivery of its first Growler electronic attack aircraft during the Australian International Airshow at Avalon.
