Omniplex World Services has received a potential $80 million contract to provide protective security officer services to the Department of Homeland Security headquarters at Nebraska Avenue Complex in Washington.
The company said Thursday it will assist the DHS Force Protection Branch in physical security missions for the department as well as provide physical access control, command center operations, internal and perimeter security, screening and emergency medical technician services.
“We understand the symbolism of the DHS Headquarters which embodies the national resolve to secure the homeland,” said Michael Santelli, Omniplex president and CEO.
“This is an exciting win for the company and fits well with our core service offering.”
The Force Protection Branch oversees contractors, conducts law enforcement and protective security services and manages access to the intelligence and information resources of federal, state, local, tribal, territorial and private sector partners.
