Omniplex Secures $80M DHS HQ Protective Security Service Contract; Michael Santelli Comments


Omniplex World Services has received a potential $80 million contract to provide  protective security officer services to the Department of Homeland Security headquarters at Nebraska Avenue Complex in Washington.

The company said Thursday it will assist the DHS Force Protection Branch in physical security missions for the department as well as provide physical access control, command center operations, internal and perimeter security, screening and emergency medical technician services.

The Force Protection Branch oversees contractors, conducts law enforcement and protective security services and manages access to the intelligence and information resources of federal, state, local, tribal, territorial and private sector partners.
