Executive Mosaic’s GovCon Index registered a 0.263-point gain to 88.954 Friday as gainers outnumbered decliners 17 to 13.McKesson Corp. (NYSE: MCK) was the top net performer in the GCI while Rockwell Collins (NYSE: COL) was the top percentage gainer.
Pharmaceutical services provider McKesson also led among stocks co-listed in the S&P 500, while avionics maker Rockwell Collins reported first-quarter numbers above Wall Street forecast and noted plans to close its $6.4 billion acquisition of B/E Aerospace (Nasdaq: BEAV) in the spring.
