Northrop to Provide System Software, Engineering Support to Navy Fire Scout Unmanned Helicopters


TYSONS CORNER, VA, Dec. 29, 2016 — Northrop Grumman (NYSE: NOC) has secured a $17.1 million contract from the U.S. Navy for system software and engineering services in support of the MQ-8 Fire Scout unmanned helicopter system, ExecutiveBiz reported Wednesday.

The company will provide software design and system integration, qualification testing, cybersecurity and engineering services through December 2017 under the contract, the Defense Department said Tuesday.
