Donald Wetekam, Jeffrey Wehrenberg to Lead AAR’s Airlift Business as Chairman, Interim President

Donald Wetekam, vice president of government and defense business development at AAR‘s aviation services sector, and Jeffrey Wehrenberg, previously chief operating officer at the company’s airlift division, have been appointed to lead AAR Airlift.

The company said Thursday Wetekam and Wehrenberg will report to John Holmes, COO at AAR’s aviation services segment, as AAR Airlift’s chairman and interim president, respectively.

“Don’s stature and tenure in the DoD make him highly qualified to assess the government’s aviation needs and how AAR can best serve them, and Jeff’s operational experience will insure that everything is well executed, ” said David Storch, chairman, president and CEO of AAR.

AAR also appointed Brooks Bash, a retired three-star Air Force general, as program director for AAR Airlift’s Worldwide Aviation Support Services Program contract with the State Department.
