Army Exercises $126M Contract Option for DynCorp Aviation Field Maintenance Services

DynCorp International has secured a $125.5 million contract modification from the U.S. Army to provide aviation field maintenance services for the continental U.S. operations of the Army Aviation and Missile Command’s aviation field maintenance division.

The Defense Department said Thursday the award exercises option year three of a previously awarded foreign military sales contract.

Work will occur in Afghanistan, Iraq, Kuwait, Germany and Tunisia through Dec. 31, 2017.

The Army Contracting Command will obligate the full contract amount from the service branch’s fiscal 2017 operations and maintenance and “other” procurement funds.
