Lockheed Gets $147M Contract Modification to Update Army’s Close Combat Trainer Systems


Military-vehicleLockheed Martin (NYSE: LMT) has been awarded a $147.1 million contract modification to complete upgrade work on close combat tactical trainer systems for the U.S. Army.

The company will continue to provide engineering, testing, technical management, logistical and materials and equipment support services under the military branch’s the CCTT modernization effort, the Defense Department said Friday.

The Army’s program executive office for simulation, training and instrumentation will assign work locations and provide funds with each order.

DoD expects Lockheed to complete work under the modification by Sept. 28, 2017.
