DZSP 21, a joint venture of Parsons and PAE, has received a potential $85.9 million contract to support the operations of the U.S. Navys base at Joint Region Marianas in Guam.
The Defense Departmentsaid Friday DZSP will assist in the bases management and port operations and perform ordnance, material and facility management, electrical, wastewater, steam, water and environmental services.
The contract contains a one-year base period and a six-month option, with the completion date scheduled in June 2017.
The Navy obligated $43.9 million from its fiscal years 2016 and 2017 funds, U.S. Air Force operations and maintenance funds, Air National Guard transportation funds, Army National Guard O&M funds and DoD funds at the time of award.
The Naval Facilities Engineering Command Pacific is the contracting authority for the sole-source award.
