Raytheon Creates UAS Directorate to Support Small UAS Production


Raytheon logoTYSONS CORNER, VA, May 5, 2016 — Raytheon (NYSE: RTN) has formed a new unit within its advanced missile systems organization to consolidate and boost the production of its Coyote and Silver Fox small unmanned aircraft systems, ExecutiveBiz reported Wednesday.

The company said Tuesday the UAS directorate will be based in Arizona and aims to build on the growing demand among warfighters for small UAS platforms.
