Battelle Demos Tech for Federal Law Enforcement Response to Shooting Incidents

battelleTYSONS CORNER, VA, May 2, 2016 — Battelle collaborated with the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center’s training innovation division to demonstrate a new technology that works to guide responses to shooting incidents, ExecutiveBiz reported Friday.

The nonprofit research organization said Thursday SiteGuard Active Shooter Response utilizes cameras and sensors to track a shooter and sends public notices on active shooting incidents via multiple messaging platforms.

The demonstration was held at an FLETC training facility in Georgia.
