Raytheon‘s (NYSE: RTN) intelligence, information and services subsidiary has secured a potential $105 million radar operations and maintenance services contract from the U.S. Navy to support the Navy Forces Surveillance Support Center.
Raytheon Intelligence, Information and Services will support the naval unit’s Relocatable Over-The-Horizon Radar system and perform work in Virginia, Texas and Puerto Rico through 2021 if all four one-year option periods are exercised, the Defense Departmentsaid Thursday.
Naval Supply Systems Command’s Fleet Logistics Center awarded the base one-year, $21 million contract through an online solicitation on the Federal Business Opportunities website and will obligate $1.7 million fiscal 2016 operations and maintenance funds, DoD added.
