Hitachi Data Systems Adds New Execs to Federal Unit; Mike Tanner Comments

HitachiTYSONS CORNER, VA,  February 8, 2016 — The U.S. federal subsidiary of Hitachi Data Systems has made two new hires to help augment service support within its federal government business unit, GovCon Executive reported Friday.

Linda Jensen — formerly customer experience and support department lead at EMC‘s federal sector — has been appointed as HDS federal director of service and support, while Jason Hardy — previously a storage architect at Compellent Technologies — has been named a cloud technologist for HDS’ federal clients.

“Linda brings extensive federal experience and knowledge, as well as a proactive instinct to drive consistent execution of all maintenance support services and process improvement, ” Mike Tanner, president and CEO of Hitachi Data Systems Federal, said in an email Wednesday.

“Jason can show federal agencies how to implement best commercial practices for cloud and how these strategies can help modernize any environment, ” added Tanner.
