General Atomics Subcontracts Hardware for JFK Aircraft Carrier


U.S. Navy photo by Greg CurryTYSONS CORNER, VA, January 12, 2016 — General Atomics has awarded a $48 million subcontract to General Tool to provide hardware equipment for the U.S. Navy‘s USS John F. Kennedy aircraft carrier, ExecutiveBiz reported Monday.

The Cincinnati Business Courier reported Friday the award to the local defense and aerospace contractor covers motor support structures and other critical safety items for the Gerald R. Ford-class carrier.
