Gerry Decker Joins Alion as Chief Growth Officer; Bahman Atefi Comments

Gerry Decker, a national security and intelligence veteran, has joined Alion Science and Technology as chief growth officer.

Decker will be responsible for the company’s revenue growth strategy and for its effort to expand the range of technology services, Alion said Tuesday.

“Over the course of his 30-year career, Gerry has developed entrepreneurial organizations that can consistently identify and capture large, prime contracts, ” said Bahman Atefi, Alion CEO.

Decker has held various leadership roles such as president, chief operating officer and senior vice president for business development with several companies, including DynCorp, Computer Sciences Corp. (NYSE: CSC), McNeil Technologies and AECOM (NYSE: ACM).
