Air Force Research Lab Picks 3 Firms for $121M Materials Research Support IDIQ


research-and-development-RDGeneral Dynamics’ (NYSE: GD) information technology business unit, UES and Azimuth have won positions on a potential seven-year, $121 million contract to perform survivability studies and materials research work for the U.S. Air Force Research Laboratory.

AFRL awarded the cost-plus-fixed-fee, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract through competitive procurement with three bids received, the Defense Department said Friday.

The companies will carry out work through Jan. 31, 2022, at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base in Ohio.
