Noblis’ Roger Mason Joins DigitalGlobe Board; Jeffrey Tarr Comments

Roger Mason, senior vice president of national security and intelligence at nonprofit research company Noblis, has received an appointment to serve on the board of directors at DigitalGlobe (NYSE: DGI).

DigitalGlobe said Wednesday Mason will succeed Martin Faga, who plans to retire from the board at the end of the month after more than two years of service.

“With deep technical understanding of our domain and a wealth of knowledge from his government service in the intelligence community, Roger will bring invaluable perspective to our boardroom, ” said Jeffrey Tarr, president and CEO of DigitalGlobe.

Mason is also currently a board member of the Intelligence and National Security Alliance and has expertise in intelligence, operations research and systems integration.

He has received the National Intelligence Distinguished Service Medal for his previous work as assistant director of national intelligence for systems and resource analyses at the Office of the Director of National Intelligence.

He holds degrees in engineering physics from the University of Virginia and in business administration from Northwestern University.
