TYSONS CORNER, VA, October 5,  2015 — Leidos (NYSE: LDOS) and Virginia Tech have forged a research agreement focused on big data and its implications on healthcare delivery, ExecutiveBiz reported Friday.
Leidos said Thursday it has also pledged an undisclosed amount to help fund the university’s Center for Business Intelligence and Analytics fellowship program.
S. Gulu Gambhir, Leidos chief technology officer, indicated that the joint research will provide hands-on opportunities for students of the university.
