BAE Taps Cobham Microelectronics Tech for F-35


electronicsTYSONS CORNER, VA, October 21,  2015 — BAE Systems has tapped Cobham to manufacture microelectronic components and assemblies for the F-35 Lightning II radar and electronic warfare system under a series of contracts worth $51 million, ExecutiveBiz reported Tuesday.

Cobham said Monday the company supplies other parts for the aircraft program, including cryptography chips, motion control components for the EOTS gimbal and microwave systems.
