TYSONS CORNER, VA September 2, 2015 — Red Hat’s (NYSE: RHT) Adam Clater said platform-as-a-service tools helps federal systems administrators deploy, update and maintain applications in the government workplace faster than ever before, ExecutiveBiz reported Tuesday.

“This efficiency serves agencies’ mandate to become more modernized, agile and flexible, and it provides an ideal foundation for DevOps, ” Clater, principal cloud architect with the Office of the Chief Technologist of Red Hat’s North America Public Sector organization, wrote in a guest post for GCN.

“Agencies interested in adopting a DevOps methodology that uses development tools as a source of continuous innovation would benefit by deploying PaaS, as it will provide them with the underlying technology needed to foster an agile culture, ” added Clater.
