Oceus Networks, Inc announced Thursday that Michael Wheeless, principle system engineer will be the recipient of the FCW 2015 Rising Star Award. An award given to outstanding federal IT leaders.Wheeless will be recognized for his work with integrating a set of complex commercial communication systems into shipboard network that proved that 4G LTE components could be operated securely at sea, which could dramatically improve the Navy’s shipboard communications.
