L-3 to Continue T-45 Sustainment Work at Navy Stations


L-3 logoTYSONS CORNER, VA September 25, 2015 — The Naval Air Systems Command has awarded L-3 Communications (NYSE: LLL) a $160 million modification contract to continue to provide T-45 jet maintenance and logistics services at various naval air stations in the country, ExecutiveBiz reported Thursday.

The Defense Department said Tuesday L-3 subsidiary Vertex Aerospace will perform the sustainment work and associated procurement duties related to some 200 units of the trainer aircraft for one year.
