Booz Allen to Support DoD’s Threat Mitigation Program for $937M

explosive disposalBooz Allen Hamilton (NYSE: BAH) has been awarded a potential $937 million contract to help the Defense Department identify and manage global threats to the U.S.

The General Services Administration said Thursday that Booz Allen will provide professional services for DoD’s Global Threat Mitigation Program, which a coalition of joint U.S. military commands supports.

The contract is managed by GSA’s Federal Systems Integration Management Center and marks the largest award that has been issued through the One Acquisition Solution for Integrated Services vehicle to date, GSA noted.

“The work done by the FEDSIM team on this contract will be instrumental in supporting DoD’s mission to protect the American people, ” said Tom Sharpe, administrator of GSA’s Federal Acquisition Service.
