Daryl Madden Promoted to SVP, GM at Textron Systems’ Geospatial Solutions Business

TextronDaryl Madden, formerly vice president of advanced systems at Textron Systems, has been promoted to senior VP and general manager of the Textron (NYSE: TXT) subsidiary’s geospatial solutions business.

Madden will report to Textron Systems CEO Ellen Lord and oversee the business’ strategic growth initiatives, product development and implementation of customer programs, Textron said Tuesday.

He has been with Textron Systems for 16 years and his career at the subsidiary includes roles such as senior software engineer, director of advanced concepts and geospatial engineering and product manager for the RemoteView platform designed for geospatial intelligence analysis.

Madden has also served in program management and software engineering principal positions at TRW, Titan Systems and Science Applications International Corp. (NYSE: SAIC).
