The Defense Department said Thursday the award also includes an order for long-lead parts for 16 FRP Lot III P-8A aircraft to the Navy and four to Australia.
Boeing will also provide FRP Lot II services and components such as obsolescence monitoring, program management reviews, two airborne sensor A-kits and life-of-type buy items, DoD added.
The company will perform work in Washington, Maryland, New York, Illinois, California, Utah and other continental U.S. locations as well as in the U.K. through December 2018.
According to DoD, the contract consists of 71 percent Navy purchases worth $1.06 billion and 29 percent Australian government purchases worth $432.3 million.
