Larry Hill: Radiant Group Adds Data Analytics Tool With HumanGeo Buy

The Radiant Group has bought data analytics and open-source software development company HumanGeo through a cash-and-stock transaction.

Terms were not disclosed and Radiant Group CEO Larry Hill said Monday the company wants to use HumanGeo’s data analytics technology to help government organizations in their mission areas.

Al Di Leonardo will continue to lead HumanGeo as president and CEO and Abe Usher will retain his role as chief technology officer.

Usher said he believes HumanGeo’s geospatial analysis, location tracking and event analysis tools complement Radiant’s intelligence analysis, cybersecurity and signal processing platforms.

Arlington, Virginia-based HumanGeo works with defense, intelligence and commercial clients to help them collect, examine and integrate datasets with technology.
